Borussia Dortmund unveil fourth new signing - Shinji Kagawa is "happy to be finally here"

[12.07.] On Monday, Borussia Dortmund unveiled Shinji Kagawa (born 17/03/1989) as their fourth and final new signing for the new season. In front of the media, including a number of TV teams from Japan, Jürgen Klopp handed the shirt with the number 23 to the Japanese player, his "desired number". Kagawa has signed a contract until 2013. more

A round of applause for BVB´s fresh faces: Lewandowski & Co. are impressed

[4.07.] Borussia Dortmund go into the new season with four fresh faces. Three of them took part in BVB´s first pre-season training at the Signal Iduna Park on Sunday - and they were welcomed by the BVB fans with a round of applause. "This also shows me that it was the right decision to join Borussia Dortmund," said Polish striker Robert Lewandowski who scored three goals on his first day in a BVB shirt. more

Kevin Grosskreutz: First rehab, then a one-week holiday at Dede´s place in Brazil

For the 21-year-old the 2009/2010 campaign has gone into extra-time, being in rehab following knee surgery. A clear sign that the holiday season hasn´t started for him yet is the fact that "our fitness coach Oliver Bartlett hasn´t given me a plan for the holidays yet." After all, Borussia Dortmund´s players are expected to keep themselves fit and in shape for the start of pre-season training on 4 July. more
