We struggled to get a foot in the game before the break, but we improved considerably in the second half. Especially at the beginning of it we were able to apply some pressure. At the goal, many players went to the near post which opened up space in the area. I was then of course a bit lucky that it wasnīt blocked by a foot."
Julian Schieber: "We can be happy with a draw looking at how the match unfolded. We went out of course to win the game but we created too few chances and played, especially in the first half, way too passively. In the second half we looked a lot better."
Felipe Santana: "We played against Bayern Munich, so a 1-1 draw in a good result. Itīs always difficult to play in Munich which is why Iīm pleased with the result and also with my performance. It wasnīt easy coming off the bench but I think that I put in a good job. The entire team played well, especially of course Roman. He was there when we needed him."
Roman Weidenfeller: "A draw is a fair result. Both sides had chances to win the game, so we are happy with a point. Itīs worth more to us than to Bayern. They again failed to beat us today and it has become an impressive streak."
