Final countdown: Four days to go - Seventh final to be held at Wembley
[21.05.] Did you know that London will host a UEFA Champions League (or European Cup as it used to be known) final for a record seventh time? The British capital is followed by major īglobal citiesī such as Rome, Madrid and Vienna - and by Munich. So far four finals have been played in the Bavarian capital, three at the old Olympic Stadium and one at the "rubber dinghy" in Fröttmaning. [18.05.] Signal Iduna Park was rocking on Saturday afternoon before and after the game. The BVB fans celebrated their team with standing ovations despite their 2-1 defeat to TSG Hoffenheim. Two hours earlier Patrick Owomoyela had struggled to hold back his tears. [15.05.] The entire Conference Center, located in the North Stand of Signal Iduna Park, was opened on Wednesday to cater for the huge media interest. A total of 180 journalists and 35 camera team accepted the invitation to BVB´s "UEFA Media Day" - ten days ahead of the Champions League final against Bayern Munich. On the stage were Borussia Dortmund´s Jürgen Klopp, Hans-Joachim Watzke, Michael Zorc, Sebastian Kehl, Roman Weidenfeller, Ilkay Gündogan and Mats Hummels, with the Q and A session lasting for 165 minutes. morebild

3-3: Reus scores two late goals to earn Borussia a point at Wolfsburg
