Shinji Kagawa, how does the championship trophy feel like?
Kagawa: "I was just great when I was introduced as a substitute at the end of the match and then received the trophy on the pitch. To play in front of the worldīs best supporters was wonderful, just like the whole season of our team. Iīm very, very happy."

Despite not being 100 per cent fit following your metatarsal fracture, you wanted to play against Eintracht Frankfurt. What was the reason?
Kagawa: "After the injury a lot of people supported me to recover and return to action quickly. I first want to thank the coach for bringing me on at the end of the match. And I also want to thank the fans for supporting me with their chants after coming on. I will never forget this day."

When you joined Borussia Dortmund last summer, you were only known to insiders in Germany. Now you are German champion and with eight goals also made a huge contribution to winning the championship. Would you have thought that your first season would go so well?
Kagawa: "Well, I actually only played half a season, but I would of course like to play a whole season. A few fans know me now, but I want to make a bigger mark on the league and present myself a whole season. Thatīs my goal. Many things I havenīt been able to achieve this campaign I want to target after the summer break."

Asians are considered to be a bit reserved. How will you celebrate this title?
Kagawa: "I have never won a league title. Thatīs why I donīt have much experience in partying. Well, in any case, I will let my emotions run free."
