However, when BVB.de is visited, the web server regularly temporarily saved the date and time of the visit, the URL of the referring website, the file retrieved, amount of sent data, the browser type and version, operating system, and IP address in a form with a pseudonym. An assessment of this anynomised data takes place in order to recognise and rectify any arising technical errors and/or misuse of the BVB.de Services and additionally serves to improve our offers and services, measure the traffic and general user profile as well as provide us with general information about use habits and characteristics of all BVB.de Users and for market research. 6. Social Plugins

“BVB.de” uses so-called “social plugins” of the following social networks on its website: “Facebook”, “Twitter” and “Google+”.  These social plugins can be identified by the social network’s logo and/or the buttons “Like”, “Recommended”, “Tweet”, “+1”. Please note that by enabling social plugins certain data may be transferred to the server of the respective social network, including the address of the website where the social plugin is located; date and time when the website was visited or the social plugin was enabled; information about the type of browser and operating system; you current IP address. When you are already logged on to a social network while the social plugin is enabled, the respective social network is able to obtain your user name and possibly also your real name. These data can also be used by the respective social network operator in countries outside the European Union. We have no influence on purpose and extent of data processing by the respective social network. Please note that the operator is able to create pseudonymised and even individualised user profiles with the above data. The enabled social plugins can be disabled at any time, though this has no influence on data already transferred to the respective social network.

We use the so-called “2 click solution” for the protection of your data. Hereby the plugin buttons are switched off by default to prevent the page from transferring data. If you want to use one of the networks, you first need to enable the desired button. Only after the button is enabled, a connection with the social network is established.
