BVB play against VfL Wolfsburg at 15:30 CET on Saturday. Approximately 3,000 BVB fans from Dortmund are set to support Borussia at the Volkswagen Arena. We have compiled the most important info for all travelling BVB fans below.

Travel by train

It is approximately 15 minutes by foot from Wolfsburg train station to the Volkswagen Arena.

Buses:

Buses can park at the away bus parking lot.

Car/minibus:

  • We recommend the Kästorf Park & Ride car park, from where free-of-charge shuttle buses run to the stadium at regular intervals.
  • The destination address for navigation devices is: VW-Tor-Nord, 38440 Wolfsburg

Admission

  • The stadium opens at 13:30 CET.
  • Access is via the south and south-east away entrances.
  • The away sector is located in blocks 29 and 32-36.

Permitted fan paraphernalia

  • Small flags (pole length of up to 200cm, diameter max. 3cm, empty PVC tube, open at top and bottom, visible interior)
  • 5 swivel flags (telescopic poles from 200cm, empty plastic tube, open at top and bottom, visible interior)
  • Double-holders (pole length of up to 200cm, diameter max. 3cm, empty PVC tube, open at top and bottom, visible interior)
  • 3 drums and a set of drumsticks for each one (open at bottom, visible interior)
  • 3 megaphones
  • Fence flags (may not be placed over the advertising hoardings)

All fan paraphernalia will be inspected in front of the stadium in the equipment lock at the away entrance to the south.

Climbing over the fences and barriers is prohibited for safety reasons (risk of falling).
A "flag guard" is not permitted inside the stadium either.

Permitted items

  • Single-lens reflex cameras and compact cameras can be taken into the Volkswagen Arena. 

Forbidden items

  • Professional single-lens reflex cameras and the like which are indicative of professional photography
  • Video cameras

Other information

  • It is possible to deposit items at the away entrance for a fee of €2. 
  • There is no fixed alcohol limit. People who are visibly under the influence of alcohol will be refused entry to the stadium. 
  • You can pay with cash as well as in cashless form (debit card, credit card, smartphone) at the stadium.
  • The North Stand (blocks 1-16 plus F), the western part of the upper tier of the main stand (blocks 62 and 64) and the "Wölfi" curve (blocks 37-44 and A) form the home sector. BVB fans are not allowed to enter.
