On Saturday, BVB will take on 1. FC Cologne at 15:30 CET. Around 5,000 BVB fans will make the trip from Dortmund to support the team at the Rhein-Energie-Stadion. We have put together the most important information for all travelling BVB fans.

Getting to the stadium

Please note that the Leverkusen Bridge (A1) will be closed on Saturday. You can find all the information about this here.

Arriving by train

KVB line 1 trains run regularly to the Rhein-Energie-Stadion stop. On match day, special trains will also run from the "Neumarkt" stop. Travel to and from the stadium on public transport in the VRS area is included with your match ticket.

No food and drink may be consumed on any KVB vehicles.

Admission to the stadium

  • The stadium will open at 13:30 CET.
  • BVB fans have been allocated standing area N6 and seats in Blocks N15, N16 O11 and O12.
  • The entrance is located in the north-east of the Rhein-Energie-Stadium.

  • 6 large swivel flags
  • 5 drums
  • 4 megaphones
  • Small flags (pole length up to 2 m, diameter up to 2 cm)
  • Fence flags (as long as there is space)

Other information

  • Only cash-free payments will be accepted at the stadium (Girocard, credit card or Bluecode).
  • Smoking in the stands is prohibited.
  • Strict alcohol checks will be carried out by the stadium security staff. Spectators with an alcohol level of more than 1.1 per mille or showing signs of being drunk will be denied admission.

  • In and around the stadium, a ban imposed by the public order office, which prohibits the carrying of glass bottles, glasses and beverage cans, will be in effect from three hours before the start of the match until three hours after the end of the match. The ban also applies in the away fans' car park P4. In the event of violations, a penalty of €25 may be imposed.
