Borussia Dortmund will most likely be without Mats Hummels for the Champions League game against Arsenal FC on Wednesday (kick-off: 2045 CET). "It´s a 97.5 percent probability that he will not be able to play," said Jürgen Klopp on Tuesday night, while adding that Marcel Schmelzer "has trained normally and gave a thumbs up."
Hummels complained of a thigh problem after the game against Stuttgart and has had intense treatment over the past few days, including his back which is believed to be the origin of the injury. "We tried everything but it has not improved yet," said Klopp. Sokratis, who has five UEFA Champions League appearances on his CV, is line to replace the injured Hummels.
