Unbeaten start: Lucien Favre extended his unbeaten run since joining BVB to 15 competitive matches, surpassing the previous record of 14 games without defeat set by Thomas Tuchel at the beginning of the 2015/16 campaign.

Winless Wolves: Since the 2015 DFB Cup final, VfL Wolfsburg have not won a single game against Borussia Dortmund.

Corner record: 20 corners (14-6 in Dortmund's favour) was the most in any match this season.

Rotation: There were seven changes to the BVB starting XI between the games against Union Berlin and Hertha. Today, Lucien Favre made a further nine changes compared to the line-up that started the DFB Cup tie.
