"I am happy" said the 21 year old national team player after he had been able to participate in a team training session for the first time. His full return to training is foreseen only for the first or second week after the international break, meaning in the course of September. The youngster broke his right ankle during the penultimate fixture of the season on May 20th in the away game at Augsburg. Sebastian Rode, by contrast, is currently absent from training because of a stress reaction following a break to his pubic bone.

The Black and Yellows put in an extra shift after the session, writing out countless autographs and posing for photographs with fans. (br)
