Borussia Dortmund will face Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League. The first leg will take place on 9 or 10 April in Spain, the second leg on 16 or 17 April at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.

The two clubs have faced each other six times at European level. Dortmund's record is positive, with three wins, one draw and two defeats. The last time they met was in the group stage of the 2018/19 season, when BVB won 4-0 at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK and lost 2-0 in the Spanish capital. Atletico currently occupy fourth place in La Liga with 55 points (14 points behind league leaders Real Madrid). In the Round of 16, Diego Simeone's team knocked out Inter Milan on penalties after drawing 2-2 on aggregate across the two legs.
