The 36 clubs of the 1. Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga unanimously elected Dr. Reinhard Rauball as DFL President for another three years at today's general assembly of the German League Association in Berlin.

The 69-year-old, who is also the President of Borussia Dortmund, has occupied the post since 2007 and is now entering a fourth term. Peter Peters (FC Schalke 04), who ran unopposed for the position of First Vice President of the DFL, was also re-elected unanimously. Helmut Hack (SpVgg Greuther Fürth) was elected as the new Second Vice President after predecessor Harald Strutz (1. FSV Mainz 05) decided not to stand for another term. The nine-person DFL Committee also includes Jan-Christian Dreesen (FC Bayern Munich), Klaus Filbry (SV Werder Bremen), Michael Meeske (1. FC Nürnberg) and Soeren Oliver Voigt (Eintracht Braunschweig), as well as the DFL German Football League Directors Christian Seifert and Ansgar Schwenken. Jan-Christian Dreesen, Michael Meeske and Soeren Oliver Voigt are new additions to the body.

The DFB Supervisory Board was also elected for a three-year term at the general assembly. In accordance with the Articles of Association, DFL President Dr. Reinhard Rauball and First Vice President Peter Peters head the Supervisory Board as President and Vice President respectively. New additions to the body include Stephan Schippers (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Fritz Keller (Sport-Club Freiburg), Ingo Schiller (Hertha BSC) and Robert Schäfer (Fortuna Düsseldorf). All other votes were also unanimous.
