BVB midfielder Marco Reus is currently on holiday recovering from a small laceration to his adductor as well as a slight inflammation of the pubic bone, which was already known.

The 27-year-old has certainly not suffered any tendon or pubic bone damages ruling him out of the remainder of 2016, as some rumours have been suggesting today. Injuries of this type have not been diagnosed by the club doctor or the doctors working with the national team.

Reus, who made 43 appearances in all competitions for BVB last season, scoring 23 goals and setting up a further eight in the process, is expected to make a full return to fitness by mid-August if the healing process continues as planned.
