BVB's Neven Subotic will appear on broadcaster ZDF's show at 11pm.

Presenter Jochen Breyer talks to Subotic about the current refugee situation in Germany, as well as other themes. The 26-year-old defender knows what he's talking about, as he himself came to Germany as a refugee. He also founded a charity for the poor which has been running for two years.

"Prosperity and security cannot be taken for granted," says Neven Subotic, "and those who live in abundance have a responsibility towards those who are less fortunate. In most countries those people are children."

Subotic's charity work has deep roots that come from the 26-year-old's own eventful life. In his early years his family fled Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to escape civil war, settling in Southern Germany.
