Bundesliga fixtures
Opener against Augsburg, finale against Hoffenheim
Borussia Dortmund, last season's runners-up, will get their 2019/20 Bundesliga campaign underway with a home game against FC Augsburg. BVB will also play at home on the last day of the season, 16 May 2020, when TSG Hoffenheim will be the visitors at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.
The opening match against Augsburg will be followed by two consecutive away matches at the newly-promoted sides 1. FC Cologne and Union Berlin. The derbies against FC Schalke 04 and the headline clashes against Bayern Munich will take place shortly after one another: on Matchdays 9 and 11, BVB will travel to Gelsenkirchen and Munich respectively, while on Matchdays 26 and 28, the return fixtures will take place in Dortmund.
The first half of the season will come to a close with an away match in Hoffenheim on the weekend of 20-22 December. The Bundesliga will return from a four-week winter break on 17 January 2020.
