BVB’s fitness coaches showed up for work as early as a quarter to seven in the morning. The players arrived half an hour later at the “Ri Au” training facility in Bad Ragaz for the first of three training sessions scheduled on Wednesday, Borussia Dortmund’s second day of training camp in the canton of St. Gallen (Switzerland), with the skies still overcast.

Club photographer Alexandre Simoes also had to get out of bed early to get pictures of players completing 1000-metre runs. After the first session, the team briefly went back to the hotel for shower and breakfast before they resumed training at 10 am. In front of hundreds of fans, the focus of the second session was on ball work, with the coaches constantly giving instructions during the ball control and passing drills.

In the meantime, Jakub Blaszczykowski and Marco Reus have stepped up their running, and on Wednesday morning it looked very promising indeed.
