Turkish Airlines has today solemnly signed a three-year agreement for a Premium Partnership with Borussia Dortmund, the 2011 German champions and 2012 double winners. The partnership between Turkish Airlines and Borussia Dortmund, which starts today, involves numerous joint activities and programmes.

Turkish Airlines will be BVB´s will airline of choice for all international flights, be it games, competitions or training camps. The partnership will be particularly notable at Borussia Dortmund´s ground Signal Iduna Park where Turkish Airlines will be represented with the Turkish Airlines Lounge. Also included in the partnership are joint events, advertising campaigns, a close social media cooperation and various promotional activities.

Hans-Joachim Watzke, Borussia Dortmund´s chairman of the board, said: "We are looking forward to the partnership with Turkish Airlines and are pleased that they chose BVB as a partner for Europe´s best airline. Two strong partners have come together."

Turkish Airlines currently serves twelve German cities with up to 250 flights a week from its international hub of Istanbul, with Friedrichshafen being added as a latest destination on 2 May 2013.
