Atakan Karzor is set to transfer from BVB's U23s to newly-promoted second-tier outfit Holstein Kiel ahead of the new season. Karazor arrived at the Strobelallee two years ago from the U19s of Ruhr neighbours VfL Bochum and made 59 appearances in defensive midfield for the Black and Yellows' reserve team.

"We wish Atakan all the best for the future and hope that he establishes himself quickly in the second tier," said Ingo Preuß, the Sporting Director of Borussia Dortmund's U23s.

Right-back Burak Camoglu and striker Hamadi Al Ghaddioui have already left Westphalia for third-tier sides Karlsruher SC and SF Lotte respectively this summer, while captain Christoph Zimmermann's contract has expired and he is still without a new club. Borussia Dortmund hopes that all of its former players develop well with their new clubs and wishes them all the best for the future!
