Borussia Dortmund have finally left the relegation behind them with a 2-0 victory at home to Frankfurt. And with 39 points sufficient for survival, BVB coach Jürgen Klopp has now set his sights firmly on the Europa League.

Jürgen Klopp: "The match was quite boring to begin with, we couldn't make anything of the spaces we had. The second goal was outstanding. A lot of chances came our way in the second half and we could have claimed victory by a larger margin. Overall, though, I'm satisfied and completely content with the 2-0 win. I saw a lot of the lads in good form today and that is important for the next few weeks. Today was an important day for us because we have finally left the relegation battle behind us. If the number of points between us and the teams above us in the European places is less than the number of games remaining, we're in with a chance. We're just three points away now. Now it's all or nothing. We're in a good position. I hope that we somehow manage to pull it off. But first of all we have to travel to Bayern on Tuesday. I hope we produce a performance that shows we really want to win the Cup. That would serve as a real springboard for this match. We're going there with the intention of achieving something."

Thomas Schaaf: "In the first half we were very much in the game until the penalty. I think that we were very solid in defence, but we didn't really manage to cause much trouble offensively. The second goal showed the importance of being clinical. We were well aware of this but didn't really do anything about it. We saw just how clinical BVB were to get that second goal. And that was the difference between the two sides today. If you want to get something out of a game, you have to be able to hurt your opponents. And we didn't manage that today." (fu)
