Jürgen Klopp: „the team gave everything today, you can really see that. We would have liked to have won, a victory would not have been underserved. But after a game like that I can – and I have to – be satisfied with one point. Either team could have won. We got into our stride the more the game went on. We still have three games, two of these are at home. We can still get nine points. Everything is still open, we are right there and we will keep at it.”

Sebastian Kehl: „Hoffenheim will say that in the end it was a well deserved point. I think that in the end we could have won this game. All in all it was a very, very intensive game after a very intensive week. It’s a shame that we couldn’t move a big step forwards. However we kept the gap the same. We are still in control of our own destiny, I strongly believe that.”

Mats Hummels: „I am not quite satisfied, because we left out some very good chances at the end. We had two, three huge chances. Of course Hoffenheim had chances too, especially at the start of the second half and in the first half. Maybe the draw is OK if you look at it all in all, but if we would have scored at the end it would have been well deserved. We still have our own destiny in our hands and can finish off the season in a league position where we would like to be.”

Marcel Schmelzer: „a fair draw, even though we could have won the game with a little bit of luck. “

„It is just not fair how fast Aubameyang is“

Markus Gisdol: „I saw a very good performance by my team and we have to build on that. Both teams gave it their all. We were slightly better in the first 60, 70 minutes. It is just not fair how fast Aubameyang is.”  (djg)
