The serious ankle injury sustained by Adrian Ramos that will keep the Colombian out of action for three months has been followed by another piece of bad news for BVB - though this time it is not quite so long-term.

Jakub Blaszczykowski tore adductor muscle fibres in the away Bundesliga match against TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday and will now be sidelined for almost three weeks. However, the medical department remains confident that Blaszczykowski will return to action for the last game of the season against Werder Bremen on May 23, meaning that he will also be available to Jürgen Klopp a week later when BVB take on VfL Wolfsburg in the DFB Cup final. (br)
