Norbert Dickel is expecting between eighty and one hundred thousand Borussia fans in Berlin this weekend, with waves of Black and Yellows set to make their way to the capital city - from all corners of Germany and of course from the country's football capital itself. The occasion? Borussia Dortmund's fifth Berlin final after appearances in 1989, 2008, 2012 and 2014.

And when Borussia Dortmund reach the final, there's only one thing on everyone's mind: the beautiful game. We bring a desire for football and for the beautiful game to the capital like no other club!

Breitscheidplatz, next to the Memorial Church on the Ku'damm, will once again be the meeting point for all Borussia fans on Friday and Saturday, with a fan party and other events set to take place.

In order to get the people of Berlin into the black and yellow spirit, there will also be autograph signings on Thursday at Intersport Voswinkel (Mall of Berlin) and on Friday at Karstadt (Kranzler Eck) with Nuri Sahin, Kevin Kampl, Nobert Dickel and BVB mascot EMMA.

Other eye-catching features from last year's final will be present this time around too: our double-decker bus sponsored by MAN will be used once again while the BVB ship will be on the river Spree too. On Saturday, the latter will offer 290 fans per tour the chance to go on a free, one-hour sight-seeing tour of Berlin.

BVB app to switch into festivity mode on Friday

For a complete overview of all fan activities taking place in Berlin, use the BVB app, which will be switched into festivity mode from 9.09 CET on Friday and will report on all events. And just like last year, BVB will once again be distributing free black and yellow Berlin city maps to all fans. Similarly to the app, these will show you which BVB events are taking place in which locations and at what time. All other information can also be found on the following webpage on the final weekend: bvb.de/ballspielfinale

As "only" around 35,000 BVB fans will get into the Olympiastadion - in addition to the contingent of 21,400 tickets for each of the finalists there are around 31,500 tickets which go to sponsors or are put on open sale by the DFB - Borussia Dortmund has once again cooperated with its main sponsor Evonik to set up a public viewing in the capital. More than 30,000 Black and Yellows will be cheering on their team at a historic venue: the land of the former Tempelhof aiport. This event is also completely sold out. (br)
