Borussia Dortmund goes into tomorrow’s Bundesliga match against Hertha BSC Berlin with no new injury worries. All the players survived last Thursdays Europa League playoff match against Odds BK without any injuries. In addition, BVB have to go without Erik Durm and Nuri Sahin who are both out long term due to injury.

Durm, a full-back, has had knee problems since their training camp and “there is still no date for his return”, according to manager Thomas Tuchel. Borussia Dortmund has signed Korean Joo Ho Park, who has worked with Tuchel at FSV Mainz 05, to replace normal left-back Marcel Schmelzer. “He is open, funny and helps unite the team”, the manager praised his new signing, who he values to be an experienced left-footed player who “can defend well, is good on the ball and is able to counter attack”. Park can also play in midfield and is “great addition to the squad” in life and on the pitch.

Nuri Sahin hasn’t played in a match since February due to Tendonitis. “He misses playing and training with the team”, Tuchel said about his midfielder. “I admire him for his good humour, energy and his diligence. Despite his impatience, he is improving well.” Sahin could possibly take part in training again after the international break, but “it’s no longer weeks away”
