Even though BVB was clearly in control they were still pretty shaky at the end against Hertha BSC. 15:4 shots on goal gave Borussia a well-deserved 3:1 victory in the end against Berlin.

Winning run: BVB has won all their competitive matches this season – the last time they had such a run of victories was back at the start of 2012.

Unpredictable: seven players have already scored goals for BVB this season – that is the best record in the league.

Broken run: Berlin’s Kalou ended BVB’s run of not conceding a goal after 258 minutes. Now every team in the league has conceded at least one goal.

Ice cold: The 1:0 was Borussia’s first shot on goal from within the Berlin penalty area (just two shots from distance before that).

Dream start: Thomas Tuchel is the first BVB Head Coach who has won all his first three Bundesliga games with the Black Yellows.

With the head: Mats Hummels has scored eleven of his 18 Bundeliga goals with his head. This was the first goal he has scored at the Signal Iduna Park since the 1.March 2014 (back then against Nürnberg).

Goal scorer: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored with his first shot on goal. He has only scored four of his 32 Bundesliga goals with his left leg. Only Aubameyang and Bayern’s Thomas Müller have scored at least one goal on all three match days.

Offensive defender: Matthias Ginter has been directly involved in three goals in his last two Bundesliga games (one goal, two assists). He has set up a total of three goals in his 86 Bundesliga games – all for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Back at last: Adrian Ramos played 18 Bundesliga games without scoring. He now scored for the first time since the 13.September 2014 (against Freiburg).

At the centre of the action: Julian Weigl had the most touches on the ball, this was the first time he achieved a three digit number of ball contacts (109).

Bogey team: Pal Dardai has never won in Dortmund in the Bundesliga. Both as a player and as a Head Coach he has drawn three times and lost seven times.

Cracked open: this was the first time Hertha conceded more than two goals under Pal Dardai.
