In the aftermath of BVB's away victory in Hanover, Michael Zorc, Matthias Ginter and Mats Hummels all took time to answer journalists' questions on sky and BVBtotal! "We controlled the match," declared the club's Sporting Director. "At the moment it's just a lot of fun to be out there," added Ginter. Here are the first reactions to the match.

Michael Zorc: "I was really pleased with our performance today. We controlled the match, but unfortunately conceded goals in our periods of dominance. After the break we played with a bit too much focus on keeping possession and were punished by their equaliser as a result. But that also served to wake us up. After that we remained calm and continued to play our game. And when we do that, we know that we are going to get chances. And that's what happened. Ultimately, we were deserved winners."

Mats Hummels: "It certainly wasn't an easy victory out there today, but one that we really had to fight for. It was a tight affair as expected, similar to those we've had against them in recent years. We only really put the match beyond their reach with our fourth goal. Before that, the match hung in the balance. It goes without saying I should have stopped their second goal. I went in for the header when, in hindsight, it would have been better to use my feet. But however I went about it, the bottom line is that I should've cleared it."

Matthias Ginter: "I'm feeling absolutely fantastic at the moment, even playing in a full-back position. It's a mixture between being a central defender and a defensive midfielder, so it's not too much of a change for me. Both full-backs play very high up the pitch. At the moment it's just a lot of fun to be out there."

"Dortmund simply had too much quality"

Michael Frontzeck: "We just couldn't push out from the back today as Dortmund simply had too much quality. They demonstrated that towards the end. But I have no criticisms to level at my team, we gave it everything. We put in a lot of effort today, so it's a shame that we weren't rewarded with a point." (djg)
