Adrian Ramos and Lukasz Piszczek are to return to training two days before the opening match of the Europa League campaign on Thursday against FC Krasnodar (kick off 19:00 CET).

Ramos had recently been trying to shake off a common cold as well as an adductor problem that he sustained a week ago in a friendly against FC St. Pauli, in which BVB ran out 2-1 winners. Piszczek had contracted an adductor muscle strain in Poland's European Championship qualifying match against Germany.

Marco Reus (toe hairline fracture) trained individually at the training facilities on Tuesday.

Manager Thomas Tuchel will have to do without Erik Durm (knee surgery) and Nuri Sahin (rehabilitation) in the two home games this week, the first on Thursday against Krasnodar (tickets available until the beginning of the match from BVB FanWelt, next to Signal Iduna Park) and the second on Sunday against Leverkusen. (br)
