Historic: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had more shots on goal than any other player (eight) and became the first African to score 23 goals in a Bundesliga season.

Supersub: Adrian Ramos is the only player this season to have scored in four matches from the bench. His four goals as a sub' have only been surpassed by Robert Lewandowski (seven). With Shinji Kagawa also making an impact after coming on, Tuchel's tweaks proved to be a game-changer today.

Defensive duo: Sven Bender und Matthias Ginter started a BVB match in central defence together for the first time ever.

Set-piece goal: BVB scored their first goal of 2016 from a dead ball, with Ramos heading home Mkhitaryan's corner.

Top provider: Henrikh Mkhitaryan set up a goal for the 14th time in the current Bundesliga campaign. He has now caught up with the previous leader, Bayern's Costa.

Rotation: There were five changes to the BVB starting XI that featured in their last game in Augsburg. In six of the last seven competitive games there has always been at least four changes.

Poor record away to BVB: Werder lost their ninth consecutive match in Dortmund. No other current Bundesliga side has hosted Bremen for that many consecutive matches without giving away a point.

Leaky defence: Werder Bremen have now gone 31 Bundesliga games without a clean sheet. It is the third-longest such run in history.
