136 000 club members and also 55000 Borussia Dortmund season ticket holders had the opportunity to apply for tickets for the 73.DFB Cup final on the 21.May, 2016 in the Berlin Olympic stadium against FC Bayern Munich.

The German FA as the event organisor has made just 21400 places available to both finalists and the demand is absolutely huge, as was the case in previous years.

As is the custom for Borussia Dortmund, the tickets for the final have been put in a draw. The lucky winners were drawn electronically this Wednesday. The draw was made under the supervision of the fan representative Petra Stüker and also the General Counsel Dr. Robin Steden, Mark Stahlschmidt (Head of Finance) and Matthias Naversnik (Head of Ticketing).

The winners will receive confirmation of their ticket reservation by e-mail or by letter (if an e-mail address has not been submitted) by the end of the week. They then have ten days to pick up their tickets from the BVB FanWelt or to pay for them via bank transfer. If all the reservations are not accounted for, a back-up list has already been drawn. Those BVB fans who were not lucky enough to be drawn in the raffle will also be notified.

For all those who were not successful in the draw and who still want to be in Berlin and be part of the exciting atmosphere, Borussia Dortmund is working in collaboration with the main sponsor Evonik Industries just as in previous years to set up a Black Yellow Public-Viewing in the capital.(br)
