Shinji Kagawa was back again for the final BVB training session in the Olympic stadium on Friday before the DFB Cup Final against FC Bayern.

Dot on 18:15 hrs the Japanese international came out onto the Berlin pitch with his team. The 27 year old, who has scored five goals and set up two further goals in the last 9 Bundesliga games, reported fit and ready for the Final after he had been substituted in the home match against 1. FC Köln as a matter of caution to prevent the risk of injury.

Shinji Kagawa went through the complete training session that lasted well over an hour and this means that Thomas Tuchel has another alternative for midfield. The Japanese player has fond memories of the last match against Bayern in the DFB Cup Final: he scored himself to make it 1-0 and he set up the goal to make it 3-1 just before half-time, when BVB won triumphed by 5-2. He was given a grade 1 (A+) by kicker along with Robert Lewandowski who score three goals that day and Jakub Blaszczykowski (two assists).

Only long term injury victims Joo-ho Park, Neven Subotic and Ilkay Gündogan are missing for BVB for the Final on Saturday. Head Coach Thomas Tuchel said: "everyone else is fit and available for selection."

On the other side, FC Bayern Munich will have to do without Mario Götze. As the German Champions reported, the World Champion broke a rib a week ago in their home match against Hanover 96 (3-1). The 23 year old will be fit again for the EURO. (fu)
