Borussia Dortmund's run of four competitive wins in a row has been ended by a bitter defeat to Frankfurt which leaves them nine points behind the league leaders. The first seven shots of the afternoon all fell to BVB but Eintracht grew into the game and the shot ratio finished 12:5.

Negative record: Borussia Dortmund now have a negative away record (two wins, a draw and three defeats).

Goals galore: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's equaliser was BVB's 50th competitive goal of the season in just their 20th match.

Historic substitution: Borussia Dortmund made their first-ever treble substitution in the Bundesliga.

Unbeaten run: Eintracht Frankfurt are now unbeaten in six Bundesliga matches (four wins, two defeats), making it their longest unbeaten run in over four years. The result saw BVB leapfrogged by the Eagles, whose tally of 24 points from 12 matches is their best record in 23 years.

Huszti's scoring streak: Szabolcs Huszti scored for the fifth time in ten Bundesliga games against BVB; the rest of the Frankfurt squad only have five against Dortmund between them.

One for the road: BVB's equaliser was the first time Eintracht have conceded a header this season. Furthermore, it was the 1000th goal the Eagles have conceded at home in the Bundesliga.
