Borussia Dortmund have reached the DFB Cup for the 09th time and have won 21 of their last 22 away games in the competition. We bring you the facts on the semi-final in Munich.

Making history: Borussia Dortmund have become the first German team to reach the DFB Cup final four years in a row.

Mr. 1-0. Marco Reus has scored BVB's first goal in each of the four matches he has played since returning from a spell out injured: against Frankfurt, Monaco, Gladbach and now Munich.

Provider: Ousmane Dembélé notched his 20th assist of the season in all competitions. He has scored nine times himself.

Semi-final success: BVB have won each of their last seven semi-finals in the DFB Cup. The last defeat at the last-four stage came 31 years ago, when they lost 3-1 at VfB Stuttgart on 26 March 1986.

Allianz Arena: Borussia Dortmund have now won five times – considerably more than any other away team – at the Aliianz Arena since the stadium was opened in 2005.

Strong away run: BVB have won 21 of their last 22 away games in the DFB Cup, with the only exception being the 2013 quarter-final in Munich.

Exception at the back: For the first time since 27 October 2009 (a 3-2 defeat in Osnabrück), Borussia conceded more than one goal in an away DFB Cup tie. Following that night there were just seven goals conceded in 24 away games!

Bayern's bogey team: Borussia Dortmund have now knocked FC Bayern Munich out of the DFB Cup for the third time – more than any other club. One of those was the 5-2 final victory in 2012. (br)
