Belarusian referee Aleksei Kulbakov has been appointed to oversee Tuesday evening's UEFA Champions League group game between Apoel Nicosia and Borussia Dortmund. It is the first time the 37-year-old has taken charge of a match involving the Black & Yellows.

Kulbakov has been involved in refereeing since he was 16 and took charge of his first senior international match – in which Cyprus beat San Marino 3-0 during the EURO 2008 qualifying campaign – ten years ago. (br)
