Five wins and a draw: Borussia are unstoppable in the league at the moment. In their 4-2 win over Mainz 05 the Black n Yellows had 28 shots on goal – and that against a defence as good as Mainz's which has not allowed so many shots on goal since January 2010.

Winning streak: Borussia Dortmund have won their fourth straight game in the Bundesliga, a feat they only managed at the start of the season (five wins from the opening five matches).

Elite competition: Borussia Dortmund have secured qualification for next season’s Champions League as they are guaranteed a top-three finish.

Many wins: BVB picked up their 20th win of the season – in last year’s Bundesliga campaign they “only“ registered 19.

Many goals: It was the 16th match between BVB and Mainz – and the highest-scoring one. The previous best was four goals, and that only on one occasion, namely the first game this season (3-1 win for BVB).

Lively display: Marco Reus was involved in 13 of BVB’s 28 shots on goal, having four himself and setting up another nine. He also converted his fifth penalty in the Bundesliga, his ninth goal in as many matches.

Scoring early: Robert Lewandowski scored his 18th goal of the season (a league best). It was only the second time in this Bundesliga campaign that he netted a first-half goal (the other one was against Bremen).

Efficient: Milos Jojic scored his third goal in his seventh game for BVB in the Bundesliga – with only five shots on goal! After coming on six times as a substitute, Jojic also made his first start in the Bundesliga after already managing starting appearances in the German cup and the Champions League.

Unbeaten: Mitchell Langerak has played 16 competitive games for Borussia Dortmund on domestic level (10 in the league, six in the cup) – BVB have won 15 of them, drawing one (a 2-2 against Hoffenheim this season).

His first at home:  Lukasz Piszczek scored his eighth Bundesliga goal for the Black n Yellows – his first at Signal Iduna Park.

Header: For the first time since Matchday 19, BVB found the back of the net with a headed goal (the last player to head home for BVB was Aubameyang in Braunschweig).

Bogey team: Mainz have lost their last six matches against BVB - and they still have yet to win a game in Dortmund.

First red card: Niko Bungert picked up his first red card in his 100th Bundesliga game.
