Borussia Dortmund came away with a deserved away win at FC Augsburg considering their 22 shots on goal to the home side’s 12. Just like against Leverkusen, the Black and Yellows covered 125 kilometres in Friday night’s game.

Set-pieces: Last season, BVB scored 29 goals from set pieces – a league best – in this campaign, they have scored two of the first three goals from corners.

Floodlights: Borussia Dortmund have not lost any of their last 15 games on a Friday night, winning the last six under floodlights.

Favourite opponents: With Friday’s 3-2 win, BVB have kept their unbeaten run against FCA in the Bundesliga alive (five wins, two draws).

Hard-running Kehl: Borussia covered 125.3 kilometres against Augsburg – more than 6.4 km more than their opponents, with Sebastian Kehl coming close to breaking the 13 km mark (12.7).

Quick-fire Ramos: After reaching a personal-best tally of 16 goals for Hertha last season, Colombian striker Ramos found the net in his first Bundesliga game for BVB (he had already scored in the DFB Cup). He scored with his first shot on target against Augsburg, equalling the feat achieved by Milos Jojic against Frankfurt in February.

Dortmund lads: It was only the second time that a move between Reus and Grosskreutz led to a goal in the Bundesliga. The first time, it was Reus setting up Grosskreutz, this time, at the first goal, it was the other way around.

Bundesliga comeback: Exactly 293 days after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury in Wolfsburg, Neven Subotic made his return to the Bundesliga.

Header: Last season, Sokratis scored with a header from a Sahin corner against Stuttgart, now he headed home from a Reus delivery – in his two years at Bremen the Greek didn’t score a single headed goal.

Familiar faces: While FCA started with four new arrivals, Jürgen Klopp opted for players he already had at his disposal last season.
