In just two hours, tickets for the German Cup quarter final between Borussia Dortmund and TSG Hoffenheim, held at Signal iduna Park on Tuesday 7 april, were all sold out. 

5.000 seats are reserved for the visiting team supporters. If TSG Hoffenheim supporters don't reach this figure, it will be possible to put the relevant tickets again on sale for the blocks 70 or 75. The 3.000 standing rooms in the lower tier of the North stand are reserved for BVB fans. 

Therefore, the game between BVB and TSG Hoffendem will be attended by 80.667 spectators at Signal Iduna Park, which means that this is the second most attended match in the history of the German Cup. The all-time record is currently of 80.708 spectators and was set on 18 March 2008 in the match between Borussia Dortmund and Carl Zeiss Jena (semi-final, 3-0).
