"It was a fully deserved victory for us," said Jürgen Klopp.

Jürgen Klopp: "I know how many games we have remaining and how many points are still up for grabs. That's the only thing I care about at the moment. But we mustn't get carried away after this game, because if we'd lost it then we'd be talking about other things than Europa League qualification today. Obviously I'm very happy that we don't have to do that. We played a good game, so it's a fully deserved victory for us. The boys really seemed to loosen up after the opening goal and played really well. But the fact is that we have another very difficult game coming up against Frankfurt next Saturday. It's absolutely vital because we want to get absolutely everything out of this season that we possibly can. I think it's absolutely great that the spectators in the stadium today completely focused on the football. They conducted themselves correctly because today was not about me, but about the team putting in a good performance. Obviously it's a nice thing to be celebrated by the fans in the 88th minute, but we still have a few games ahead of us so as a person I'm trying to not really focus on it too much. Because I know that at the end of the season the last game is going to be an extremely emotional one. That's going to be a tough occasion."

Erik Durm: "We put in a very good performance today, the victory is deserved. But we now need to go one better next Saturday because we've still got a lot to play for."

Marcel Schmelzer: "We pulled off our plan to the letter today. I'm particularly delighted for Micki (Henrikh Mkhitaryan) that he got a goal today. We want to give our coach a really good send-off."

"BVB deserved to win by that margin"

Andre Breitenreiter: "Today it was a case of any points we got would be a bonus, so I think we need to just accept this result. After Dortmund got the opening goal, they became unstoppable. BVB deserved to win by that margin too. We need to focus on the next game now as there is still a long way to go this season." (djg)
