Borussia Dortmund’s U17 is back in the Final for the German B-Youth Championship again. After a   2-0 win in the first leg in Dortmund, last year’s title winners fought out a 2-1 (0-1) victory in the return leg at RB Leipzig. This means they will face either VfB Stuttgart in Groβaspach or Hanover 96 in Hanover next Sunday.

Huge celebrations for Black Yellow after the latest coup! In the rematch of last year’s Final the team from Sachsen turned on the pressure right from the start and lay siege to the Black Yellow's goal. Goalkeeper Bansen made a mistake early on which led to the 1-0 for Leipzig. However the goalie got better by the minute and turned into a real stalwart in this battle.

In a scratchy match BVB showed their potential especially when it came to switching play, however all in all they were still too ineffective and they were lucky that a goal from a free kick was disallowed just before half time. The opposition strikers were a bit too over enthusiastic towards the BVB wall…

Substitute Dario Scuderi scored for Borussia to make it 1-1 right after half time. After Pulisic set up Scuderi with some great play, Scuderi just had to push the ball over the line. Shortly thereafter both of them started a promising counter attack, however they missed the chance to make it 1-2 and to decide the game there and then.

The match went back and forth. Bansen prevented Leipzig from taking the lead again with a great save. As the European Cup away goal rule did not apply, a 3-1 victory would have been enough for RB Leipzig to get to extra time. Five minutes before the final whistle Scuderi scored from a header after a cross from Pulisic to make it 2-1 for BVB – and this meant that BVB was in the Final. (br)
