Borussia Dortmund’s U17 will play VfB Stuttgart in the Final for the German B-Youth Championship. The South-West Champions did enough with a 1-1 draw at Hanover 96 after winning 2-0 in the first leg.

The Final will be next Sunday in Groβaspach. Kick-off is at 11am.

After his team’s 2-1 victory in the return leg in Leipzig, BVB Head Coach Hannes Wolf said: “It was a big challenge for us to overcome a very strong Leipzig team. The fact that we only went 0-1 behind was quite lucky for us.” He also added: “I am now all the more proud that we can finish this journey with this team.”

West Champions Dortmund went behind early on to a goal from RB defender Dominik Franke (4.) in front of 3012 spectators in the Leipzig WM Arena. But the equaliser by substitute Dario Scuderi (54.) opened the door for the Final. Scuderi added another goal at the end (76.) to win the game. The match between BVB and Leipzig was a rematch of the Final from last year (also 2-1 for Borussia Dortmund)
