The first football-specific training session under new coach Thomas Tuchel took place on Tuesday morning, lasting a total of 106 minutes. After a short discussion, the players took to the well-kept training pitch at 10:15 and finished the first of the day's two sessions at 12:01.

Following the warm-up and a range of coordination exercises, the focus was on the ball in a range of drills concentrating on passing and play which took place in the sunny conditions. These were interrupted here and there for Thomas Tuchel and his co-coach Arno Michels to give concise instructions. The second training session is scheduled for later on this afternoon. To begin with, 15 outfield players and 3 goalkeepers are involved. This week's training sessions are not open to the public. (br)
