22 year old Moritz Thienhoff, a Borussia Dortmund member since he was born, was the first one to make sure he had the first home-jersey for the Bundesliga season 2015/16 on Tuesday night. The BVB FanWelt was open for the midnight sale from 11 pm onwards.

Over 300 fans used the opportunity to make sure they got the new jersey. It combines tradition with the modern look; when you look at the yellow shirt, you immediately notice the black, horizontal pin stripes and they remind you a little bit of one of the most successful jerseys of the last years, the championship kit of 2011.

Marco Reus, who was allowed to already have a look at the jersey in the morning, said: “I am looking forward to running out on the pitch again soon at the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK and to see our fans. I like the simple design with the black stripes. I am sure we will have a lot of joy with this jersey and hopefully we will have lots of success in it.

You can buy the new BVB jersey as of now in all BVB fan shops and under shop.bvb.de. The price is €79.95 (adults) and €54.95 (children). (br/an)
