Borussia Dortmund will kick off the 2015/16 Bundesliga season with a big match on a Saturday evening. BVB will face Borussia Mönchengladbach at 18:30 on Matchday 1, followed by two Sunday matches.

On weekends which follow UEFA Europa League qualifiers, BVB will take on FC Ingolstadt and Hertha BSC in the Bundesliga in Sunday fixtures to be played at 15:30 CET. The away match at Hannover 96 on Matchday 4 is the only other match scheduled for a Saturday afternoon before the end of September.

The DFL has set the fixtures for the first seven matchdays in an extremely fan-friendly way. But - just like last year - there is one scenario whereby a fixture could be rescheduled: Should Bayer Leverkusen qualify for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League and Borussia Dortmund get knocked out in the UEFA Europa League play-offs, the clash on Matchday 5 would be moved from Sunday at 17:30 CET to Saturday at 18:30 CET.

Further exact dates and times are expected in September. These depend on the fixtures in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, which will be determined following the draw in Monaco on 27/28 August 2015. (br)
