Borussia Dortmund's U23s only managed a 1-1 (1-0) draw against RW Oberhausen on matchday 7 of the Regionalliga West (Regional League West) despite having two more players on the pitch, with Alen Ozbolt's header earning the Black and Yellows a point.

Engelmann put the visitors ahead in the 14th minute when he struck home from an unmarked position ten metres out. Oberhausen's Haas was then dismissed shortly before the end of the first period for his involvement in a skirmish. BVB introduced some fresh legs (Hanke, Ducksch) during the break and although the striker - who has recently returned from Paderborn - put the ball over the line in the 51st minute following build-up play from Ozbolt and Hanke, the linesman raised his flag for offside.

Following a cross from Hanke, Ozbolt headed home the equaliser after 64 minutes. Oberhausen were then reduced to nine men when Baude was sent off in the 83rd minute. (br)
