BVB's players will be called onto the pitch by Thomas Tuchel three more times at the Dubai training camp - including Friday's friendly against South Korean champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (kick-off at 13:35 CET, live on BVB total!).

There was an unusual sight to behold at this morning's session at the NAS Sports Complex: grey clouds and a few drops of rain replaced the blue sky, though the temperature was still a pleasant 20°C. For the players, however, the slight change in the weather was a welcome development given the third-from-last session taking place in the training ground complex. In extensive interval training, the players were sweating buckets. Nevertheless, the prospect of a training-free Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning awaits, which will give the players and staff some free time and provide some brief respite from the gruelling schedule of the winter training camp.

The last training session has been pencilled in for before the friendly match against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC late on Friday afternoon. Then the players and staff will all board the plane taking them back home on Saturday morning - in the knowledge that they have laid important foundations for a no-less-hectic schedule that will see them involved in three competitions in the second half of the season...
