Having already missed the 2014 FIFA World Cup with an adductor problem, Marco Reus is set to miss this summer's Euro 2016 with the same injury. National team coach Joachim Löw has therefore not included the BVB striker, who is celebrating his 27th birthday today, in his final 23-man squad for the tournament in France.

Shooting star Julian Weigl, on the other hand, has made the cut for the final squad. Mats Hummels, who is soon to leave BVB, is included too: "The prognoses for Schweinsteiger and Hummels are clear. According to our doctors, both players will be available to us for this tournament," said Löw.
