Borussia Dortmund and St. Pauli have reached an agreement for the transfer of Marvin Ducksch, thus granting the 22-year-old forward his wish of playing for the Hamburg-based outfit in the second tier from next season onward.

"We wish Marvin all the best for the future," said Sporting Director Michael Zorc of the transfer, the terms of which both parties have agreed not to disclose.

Marvin Ducksch has played for BVB since he was eight years old and completed a loan switch to Bundesliga side SC Paderborn in the 2014/15 season. After picking up a foot injury he returned to parent club Dortmund last season and was one of the linchpins of the Regional League team, scoring 15 goals in 28 appearances.
