Successful "one-twos", a great reaction, 500 enthusiastic Black and Yellows and a wonderful cooperation between Borussia Dortmund and AIDA – this was the satisfying conclusion to the first European Championships football tour on the AIDAblu, which sailed from Palma de Mallorca to Marseille and back between 10 and 13 June.

On board the cruise ship, which was decked out in Black and Yellow colours, was a BVB delegation which included Carsten Cramer, club legends Wolfgang Paul, Günter Kutowski and Nobby Dickel, as well as employees of BVBtotal, besttravel, the BVB Evonik Soccer School and more, including BVB mascot EMMA and football pundit Hansi Küpper.

Public viewing on the AIDAblu deck.

To mark the start of the Euros there was a large public viewing on deck following the vessel's departure in Palma, presented by the spirited duo of Nobby Dickel and Hansi Küpper. The BVB fans on board for the journey to Marseille and back to Mallorca enjoyed a Black and Yellow programme with an exciting set of talks with the legends, who answered all of the fans' questions as well as signing autographs and taking selfies.

In addition, there was a daily Euros betting game with great prizes up for grabs, such as a visit to a BVB home game and signed shirts. BVB motion pictures were shown on board, and the deck played host to a football tournament on a small pitch in the presence of BVB coaches.

Before returning back home there was also an opportunity to take part in a tour of the RCD Mallorca stadium, which was followed by a training session.

All in all, it was a great tour with the Black and Yellows in full throttle on the high seas.
