Borussia Dortmund's new signing Raphael Guerreiro will be joining the club as a European champion! The left-back played all 120 minutes of Portugal's 1-0 victory over France in Sunday evening's EURO 2016 showpiece in Paris.

The 22-year-old was a regular fixture in the newly-crowned European champions' starting XI throughout the entire tournament, missing only two of the six matches due to a minor injury.

Following today's celebrations is Lisbon, Raphael Guerreiro will be taking a well-deserved holiday before joining up with the BVB squad on 1 August – just like Julian Weigl and Lukasz Piszczek. Borussia's other EURO participants Roman Bürki, Nuri Sahin and Emre Mor, as well as US international Christian Pulisic, are all expected back on 18 July, while Mikel Merino will link up with the squad tomorrow.
