From Kirchberg via Munich with a view to Shanghai and Shenzen. Even though BVB suffered a defeat, Thomas Tuchel was not dissatisfied and he looked ahead to the coming week and the China tour: "we also want to make the most of our training sessions when we are there."

Thomas Tuchel on the friendly match away to TSV 1860 Munich:
„We have been in training for two weeks now, we played St.Pauli on Thursday, then we played again on Saturday and in addition we had a few players who had suffered some knocks. We could feel we suffered a lack of quality and strength. We still dominated the game, not everything was bad. But it just wasn't as fluent and fresh as when we played against St.Pauli. Still everything is OK, I'm just annoyed about the goal that we conceded. We should defend that. If that would not have happened, I would say: this is just what it looks like after two weeks of training."

... on the imminent China tour:

„We want to concentrate on our training session units again. We will be there for such a long time that we cannot neglect this. First of all those players who have done everything so far will get two days off. The players need this break. After a short spell in Dortmund we then start the journey into the unknown, even if everything has been organised in a perfect way. We will play Manchester United early on in China, then unfortunately very late on we play City. We will feel the jet lag at some  stage or another. We have to cope with this and compensate for it. We managed to do this last year, however this time the tour is a little longer. So we will have to see how this works out."
