Borussia Dortmund will be without André Schürrle when their 2016/17 Champions League campaign kicks off away to Legia Warsaw tonight. The Germany international is suffering from a minor medial collateral ligament injury and will sit the match out as a precautionary measure.

Other injury absentees include Marco Reus (lack of match fitness), Sven Bender (ankle) and Erik Durm (knee operation).

Coach Thomas Tuchel has made three changes to the team that lost 1-0 to Leipzig in the Bundesliga, bringing in Christian Pulisic, Ousmane Dembélé and Raphael Guerreiro, who is making his first start for BVB, in place of Schürrle, Sebastian Rode and Gonzalo Castro (both on the bench).
