Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Roman Bürki and Marcel Schmelzer showed their delight when speaking to sky after the clear 5-1 victory away to VfL Wolfsburg, as did Lukasz Piszczek in his interview with BVBtotal!. However, double goalscorer Aubameyang warned: "We must not allow ourselves to be content and must continue to work hard." Here are the first reactions to the match.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: "Of course I am happy with my two goals. We put in another excellent performance and can be absolutely satisfied. However, we had a few problems at the start of the second half, which was when we conceded the goal. But after that we put things right with our play on the counter. Nobody can stop us at the moment. But we must not allow ourselves to be content, we need to continue to work hard."

Roman Bürki: "Today I had the chance to shine on several occasions. Of course I'm happy that I pulled off a few saves which kept us in the game. We knew what was awaiting us here, because Wolfsburg have enormous attacking quality. I am naturally delighted with our current run."

"We're happy to be playing every three days"

Marcel Schmelzer: "Even though we are on a run at the moment, it is not good to compare this team with the one from last season – especially given the fact we had a season as good as that last year. At the moment you can just see how much we're enjoying ourselves out there. We're happy to be playing every three days."

Lukasz Piszczek: "I'm absolutely delighted that I scored for the first time in more than two and a half years. I don't score goals very often and on top of that today's one was a header. So that makes me very happy." (djg)
